This is an original Banksy "test spray" made in conjunction with Banksy´s preparations for Brit Pop band Blur´s album called "Think Tank".
This work was gifted by Banksy to a helper. The work is accompanied by a signed letter that names the previous owner.
A description of the work, the process with the artist the place and the date in 2003 when it was conceived.
The signed letter goes:
I, Robert got this Think Tank spray back around 2003 when I was on a traveller site in Deptford East London, Creek Rd. I was working preparing walls to be sprayed on by Banksy. There was 3 or 4 made at the time to line up the stencils.
This in the only one one cardboard. The others were on paper.... Signed Robert.
(we have the complete name that identifies the previous owner as a known Banksy helper in the early years.)
The last photo is from some printing shoppe who has stolen the image :-)
